Funding Opportunity: COVID-19 Response & Adaptation mini-grants

The Offices of Applied Learning, Community Engagement, CTE/CFL, and the Research & Innovation Services Team are supporting the immediate implementation of applied learning projects and project development in the Spring 2020 and Summer 2020 terms. The goal of these grants is to provide additional support and funding to develop new online applied learning experiences or adapt existing applied learning experiences to a remote teaching method. 

All UNCW Faculty and Instructors, including part-time, full-time, and graduate teaching assistant instructors of record, are eligible to receive up to $750.00 through this opportunity. This funding may be used for an instructor stipend or for non-physical supplies such as software licenses or computational hours.

The Undergraduate Journal of Service Learning and Community-Based Research

The Undergraduate Journal of Service Learning and Community-Based Research is still seeking student submissions, Faculty/Staff reviewers, and Faculty/Staff editorial board members!

This refereed, multidisciplinary, online undergraduate journal’s goal is to advance knowledge in new scholarly arenas by presenting intellectual and reflective work by undergraduates. This journal seeks undergraduate contributions to the literature on service learning and community-based research. To submit a paper or learn more about the different submission categories, visit our website. Student submissions are due on January 15th, 2020.
