Library Resources

During COVID, the library has offered this page of Remote Library Services for students/faculty/staff,

Here is some additional information:

  • Information for Distance Learners,
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL),
    • Request scanned articles & book chapters, and print books
    • For online/distance students, under Status, you need to select Distance Education or Distance Ed Grad. This will open up the address field, and notify library personnel to mail the item to the student, with return shipping label included.
      • Articles/Book chapters take 3-5 business days and are uploaded to the ILL portal
      • Print books take 8-10 business days, but could take longer.
      • In normal circumstances (non-COVID), students can visit other UNC system universities close to them and check out their materials for free, with proof of UNCW enrollment. See To borrow books and other materials from other UNC libraries
