FAQs

Q: Are dogs allowed?

A: Although we love furry friends as much as anyone, pets are not permitted on the CREST campus.

Q: Are children allowed?

A: Yes, this is a family friendly event! However, because of the sensitivity of research and surrounding areas, we kindly ask that children be accompanied by an adult at all times. Tours are limited to ages 12+.

Q: Are there restrooms available?

A: Yes, off of the main lobby and also down the administrative hall.

Q: Does it cost to attend?

A: The event is free, but tours are first come, first served because of limited capacity.

Q: Where do we park?

A: We have limited parking (before the gate) on site at 5600 Marvin K. Moss Lane. Please carpool if possible! There will also be a shuttle running from the main UNCW campus, with pick-up at the Burney Center circle. Look for our CMS flag.

Q: Is there food and drink available?

A: We will have the UNCW Seahawk Wagon and Poor Piggy's BBQ food trucks on site where lunch and snacks are available for purchase. We recommend bringing your own reusable bottle for water.

Q: Are there accommodations for those with disabilities?

A: Yes, we have four (4) handicap parking spots past the gate and if any other accommodations are needed please request by calling 910-962-2301 at least 5 days prior to the event.

Q: What if it rains?

A: All events will take place RAIN OR SHINE. Please dress accordingly and bring an umbrella if necessary.
