Ph.D. in Applied Coastal and Ocean Sciences NEW!

Applications are being accepted for UNCW’s newest doctoral program, the Ph.D. in Applied Coastal and Ocean Sciences (ACOS). A dissertation-based degree program that will also provide students with skills to develop translational and entrepreneurial thinking useful for pure and applied scientific research and development in the marine sciences. The ACOS Ph.D. will take advantage of more than 80 faculty at UNCW who are engaged in the many facets of marine research. Application Portal: ACOS Ph.D. application.
