CHHS Exercise Science Professor and Student Display the Importance of Balance to Members of the UNCW Foundation Board

Dr. Lisa Sprod and Exercise Science student, Aubrey Burgess, displayed the importance of balance on the Neurocom Balance Master, to members of the UNCW Foundation Board during their meeting on campus on August 31. Additionally, student Catherine Hoyt skillfully showcased the use of the Anatomage table, an anatomy visualization system used for anatomy education.

Members of the Foundation Board volunteer to assist the university in soliciting and receiving private gifts to further educational programs and scholarship opportunities for students. Sharing time with the board members helps them to better understand how we educate our students and our needs as the College of Health and Human Services continues to grow.

Special thanks to Dean Hardy, Dr. Steve Elliott, Dr. Wayland Tseh, Dr. Lisa Sprod, Aubrey Burgess and Catherine Hoyt!
