CHHS and University Advancement Hosted Event for Members of UNCW Parents Council

The College of Health and Human Services partnered with University Advancement and hosted nearly 50 members of the UNCW Parents Council on Saturday, March 25.

Parent Council members are dedicated parents who support our students with a donation of $1,000 or more each fiscal year. The council meets twice a year for informative opportunities to meaningfully engage with the university.

Great thanks to Barb Pennington who shared information about the clinical research program, and Barb Snyder, who led an interactive tour of the Simulation Learning Center. Dean Charlie Hardy wrapped up the experience by engaging the parents in a presentation about the amazing growth and forward trajectory of the College of Health and Human Services and Tanya Armour, CHHS director of development, encouraged parents to be ambassadors for CHHS and thanked them for their philanthropic support of the university.
