Veterans Hall

Since the founding of the College of Health and Human Services in 2010, more than 6,500 students have graduated in the fields of health and applied human sciences, nursing and social work – and are now making a difference in the health and quality of life in Southeastern North Carolina and beyond.

As the College of Health and Human Services approaches its 10th year, we celebrate the accomplishments of our students, staff and faculty and we look forward to constructing our future. Supported through the successful passage of the Connect NC Bond, UNC Wilmington broke ground on Veterans Hall in January 2018. This innovative new 145,000 square foot facility, slated for completion in 2020, will provide space to:

  • Leverage the student experience in and out of the classroom.
  • Engage with the community by providing collaborative space for shared ideas to be implemented off campus.
  • Continue to advance our research and service portfolio through state-of-the-art technologies.
