About Veterans Hall

Veterans Hall, which opened in August 2020, houses existing health and human services degree programs and new programs under consideration such as respiratory therapy, speech language pathology and physician assistant studies. In addition to the CHHS programs, faculty and staff from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the Office of Military Affairs occupies space in the facility supporting our commitment to interprofessional collaboration.

Additional laboratories allow students to practice skills, giving them the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom through hands-on experiences, peer to peer activities in laboratory settings, standardized patient experiences, simulation learning and real-world client interactions. These practice opportunities prepare our graduates to join tomorrow’s health and human services workforce.

Veterans Hall serves to help the College of Health and Human Services continue to create transformative learning experiences, advance knowledge through research and scholarly activity and engage local and global communities.
