The School of Nursing is proud to offer a learning environment where students work along side faculty gaining hands on experience through simulation and practice. These real-world scenarios help students to develop life-saving techniques and prepares our graduates for a fast-paced workforce. A nurses job well done is dependent on these experiences, and we are lucky enough to have generous alumni and other friends of the SON to help support this venture as well as many others.

This academic year, students had the opportunity to attend several simulation panels here at our own Simulation Learning Center as well as present their research at annual regional and national conferences hosted by organizations such as the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Southern Nursing Research Society. These opportunities are only available through the help of our fabulous alumni and friends of the school.
