Yeoun Soo Kim-Godwin: PhD, MPH, CNE, RN, Professor

Yeoun Soo Kim-GodwinKim-Godwin, a tenured professor, began working with the SON in 1997 as a part-time lecturer. She first earned her BSN from Seoul National University, an MPH from Yonsei University, and both an MN and PhD in nursing from the University of South Carolina. Kim-Goodwin is the recipient of numerous grant-funding awards for projects such as the use of peer evaluations in home health simulation, service-learning experiences for undergraduate nursing students, and online pedagogy development.

Kim-Godwin's research interests focus on spirituality, culture, and substance abuse. Her most recent research publications have examined student perceptions of group experiences in online RN-BSN as well as perceptions of differences in practice of the ADN- and BSN-prepared RN in Nurse Educator.
