Denise Isibel: DNP, RN, CNE, Assistant Professor

Denise IsibelDr. Denise Isibel received her BSN nursing degree from Villanova University in 1981. Her nursing career has spanned the United States teaching from South Carolina to California. Her first job was as a public health nurse in Jasper County SC and states the position solidified her commitment to community and public health. She received her MSN in Nursing Administration from the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio in 1987.

From there, Isibel's experience continued in public health, patient education and nursing leadership. Moving every few years gave her experience in almost every area of nursing. As a faculty member, she has taught students in general medical-surgical, cardiac telemetry, community health, fundamentals, and leadership/management. Isibel completed her DNP in 2015 from Vanderbilt University.
