Dana G. EL Hajj: PhD, RN, Assistant Professor

Dana El HajjDr. Dana EL Hajj joined the SON faculty in January 2020 after completing a post-doctoral Fellowship with the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Denver Colorado. She has primarily worked in Critical Care areas as part of her clinical career. Her research interests are focused on health promotion and disease preventions with a special interest in Tobacco cessation. She recently completed a research project evaluating the use of alternative tobacco products among Veterans in Colorado. Prior to joining UNCW, EL Hajj held a faculty position with the College of Nursing at University of Colorado in Denver, where her teaching responsibilities include courses such as Inferential Statistics, Advanced Research Methods, Professional Nursing Roles, Evidence Based Practice and Medical Surgical.
