Jane Anderson: DNP, RN, G-CNS-BC, CNE, Lecturer

Jane AndersonA certified gerontological clinical nurse specialist and a Certified Nurse Educator, Jane Anderson has been a lecturer in the RN-BSN program since coming on board in 2014. She completed her DNP at George Washington University with a concentration in nursing education, and received her MSN in advanced adult health with a certificate in gerontology from Radford University. Anderson has taught numerous undergraduate nursing courses at the College of Nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina where she helped increase high fidelity simulation within the fundamentals course. She is working on a manuscript for an interprofessional activity between first year nursing students and second year pharmacy students. This work was presented at the 2013 Collaborating Across Borders International Conference in Vancouver, B.C. She has served on several executive boards for aging and respite care.
