Erichsen Appointed CHHS Leadership Fellow for Advancement and Foundations

June 10, 2022 - Tiffany Erichsen, coordinator of the Center for Workforce Development, will also take on the newly created position of CHHS Leadership Fellow for Advancement and Foundations beginning July 1. In this role, she will build relationships with corporate sponsors, foundations, alumni and donors with the goal of creating philanthropic and grant funding opportunities within the College of Health and Human Services.

Tiffany ErichsenErichsen will work collaboratively with faculty, academic administrators and advancement to match CHHS funding priorities with potential funders. Responsibilities include serving on the CHHS Dean’s Advancement Council and Leadership Team, extending and expanding relationships within clinical research, serving on taskforces and committees associated with partner involvement and expanding the College's donor base and foundation funding.

Erichsen earned her Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in psychology from Hamilton College, her Master of Public Administration from Florida International University, and her Master of Social Work from UNC Wilmington. A lifelong learner, she is currently pursuing a post-baccalaureate certificate in evaluation at UNCW. Throughout her career she has held positions such as interventionist, drug abuse and AIDS Research Center intervention core coordinator, and regulatory compliance officer, all of which contributed to the health and well-being of her community. Erichsen is a national board certified health and wellness coach and in 2020 was a finalist in the education category for WILMA Magazine’s Women to Watch Award.
