To enhance the health and quality of life of our community, the Center for Workforce Development facilitates the exploration, preparation and development of the health and human services workforce.

We aim to ignite and fuel passion for the health and human services fields and engage with our community to form strong academic-community partnerships to develop our workforce and providing opportunities for lifelong learning.

For those in the clinical research industry, FuseCR offers timely and engaging professional development opportunities in the form of short courses and workshops.

The North Carolina Public Health Training Center (NCPHTC) is our training and development initiative designed to provide free training to the state’s public health workforce. In partnership with Emory University in Atlanta, the NCPHTC provides in-person and virtual trainings to meet the demands of practitioners working in population health.
