Professional Workshops: Cultivating a Trauma-Informed Workplace Culture: A Call to Action

Workplace cultureHow are you taking care of yourself and your employees when it comes to dealing with challenges in the workplace? Are you aware that trauma not only impacts your clients, but your employees and your workplace as well?

Leaders and leadership teams from regional health and human services agencies are invited to attend this one-day workshop to learn how to assess and cultivate workplace cultures that address provider burnout, promote organizational health, decrease workplace toxicity, and are trauma-informed for sustainable practice. Participants will be introduced to the pillars of trauma-informed care and will learn how to communicate with ‘congruency’ in the workplace. Leadership teams are strongly encouraged to participate together. This workshop is appropriate for those working in the fields of social work, healthcare, nursing, end of life care, law enforcement, first responder/emergency services, addiction services and many more. Facilitators: Lisa Brooks, MSW, LCSW and Ashley Swinson, MSW, LCSW
