Ashlee Jensen, B.A.
Executive Assistant to the Dean

Jensen-E.jpgAshlee Jensen joined the College of Health and Human Services in 2015 as a member of the Dean's Unique Service team, where she served as administrative support for the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, the Assistant Dean for Finance and Resource Management, the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation and the Assistant Dean for Community Engagement. She assumed her current role on the Leadership Team in 2019 as the Executive Assistant to the Dean.

Prior to moving to Wilmington to serve the College of Health and Human Services, Jensen worked in the Raleigh/Durham area caring for individuals, families, and communities in mental health and behavioral health settings. In her previous role as an Office Manager and Qualified Mental Health Professional, Jensen was responsible for the growth, coordination and compliance of offices across the state of North Carolina, as well as providing direct care to individuals in her local area.

Jensen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently enrolled in the Master of Social Work program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She is focusing her education on macro social work within public and non-profit settings and is currently interning with the American Red Cross.
