How to Get the Most Out of Your Business Week Experience

If you haven't yet had the chance to attend an in person CSB Business Week event, prepare yourself for a one-of-a-kind educational and professional opportunity.  Over the course of two days, CSB will offer more than 100 sessions on a varitey of topics presented to you by knowlegeable and experienced business professionals. Students will gain valuable career specific information and insight into various business fields. However, if you opt to take full advantage of all that Business Week has to offer, there will be a plethora of networking opportunities as well. In addition to a speaker sessions, consider attending an after hours event such as a mixer, fair, or networking event (review the full schedule of events HERE). Engage presenters with questions during sessions or hang around for a few minutes after a session to introduce yourself to a presenter who many be affiliated with a company at which you hope to work. Don't forget to attend the Business Week lunch under the tent behind Cameron Hall on both days at noon. Lunch is not only a chance to enjoy some good food, but to network with presenters who will be mingling and lunching as well. After the event be sure to follow up with those you met. Reach out via email if you got a business card with contact information, or connect on LinkedIn. Many students have made lasting connections at Buisness Week!
