Mr. H. Carlton Fisher

Mr. Fisher, a resident and native of Wilmington, was re-appointed to a four-year term on the UNCW Board of Trustees by the UNC Board of Governors with a ending in 2025. He previously served on the Board from 2011 through 2015. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board and a member of the Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committee, the Business Affairs Committee, the Educational Planning and Programs Committee, and the Executive Committee and Vice Chair of the Endowment Board.

Mr. Fisher graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in business in 1983. The son of Wilmington College alumni Herbert and Sylvia Fisher, he also is a former member and chair of the UNCW Foundation Board. Numerous facilities on campus bear the Fisher family name in recognition of their generous support and love of the university.
Mr. Fisher is the owner and manager of Coastal Realty, a commercial real estate firm in Wilmington.
