Programs

Association for Campus Entertainment (ACE)

ACE, UNCW's student programming organization, coordinates various student-produced events on campus. They provide a diverse schedule of programs and activities that promote opportunities for educational, social, and cultural growth for students and the campus community. ACE consists of five committees who work together to host events on campus: Concerts, Films, Homecoming, Special Events & Activities, and Spirit.

Boseman Gallery

Boseman Gallery is curated by an undergraduate intern in partnership with several offices and departments on campus. Exhibits include an all-student show and an alumni feature. The exhibitions change 4-6 times yearly.

Keepin' it Reel Documentary Series

The goals of the series are to cultivate learning outside the classroom and to create opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to explore and discuss a variety of topics and diverse perspectives in a way that engages today’s audiences most: through film.  RSVP through Wavelink or the CORQ app. We look forward to seeing you there!

Leadership Lecture Series

The Leadership Lecture Series provides an exploration of leadership through stories and experiences shared by guest speakers. Students are invited to discuss and engage in political, cultural diversity, and economic issues as well as popular trends and topics that shape and affect their communities. The views expressed by our visiting artists, guests, or lecturers do not necessarily reflect the views of UNCW. Recent guests include Brandon Stanton, Tarana Burke, Nyle Di Marco, and Ibram X. Kendi.

Lumina Theater

UNCW's premier 330 seat cinema, located in the Fisher Student Center is the host to a variety of events and film showings.

Sharky's Box Office and Gameroom

With pool tables, ping pong, and video games, and board games Sharky's Gameroom is the campus gaming and entertainment destination. Sharky's also offers a wide array of movie concessions, including soda, popcorn, and candy. Visit the website for hours of operation. Sharky's Box Office and Game Room is closed in spring 2021.
