Corinne Lefebvre has worked and specialized in several different art historical periods, having lived and worked abroad for the past 15 years. She developed a passion for the art world and auctions by attending weekly auctions in Canada with her parents who frequently bought, restored and resold antiques as a hobby. She decided to pursue her Master’s at Christie’s in London where the school was located in the same building as the Auction House. She has a keen interest in Contemporary Photography with special consideration for the built environment and urban topography.

Work and life brought her back to her native Canada, working at an Auction House and Contemporary Gallery. Following by a move to France which gave her the opportunity to teach a Art History, specializing in 19th Century French Art in Cannes, France for over 8 years as she also pursued her Ph.D. in Paris. Her most recent experience brought her to Qatar in the Middle East, where she worked with local art enthusiasts to open the first ever home grown auction house in the Region and gained first-hand knowledge of Islamic Art.

Corinne is currently teaching the 19th Century French Art course and is working as the Cultural Arts Gallery Director.
