Welcome to the Africana Studies Minor!


The College of Arts and Sciences offers an interdisciplinary minor in African-American studies which provides students with an understanding of the many facets of the African-American experience. The minor encompasses courses in history, English, political science, sociology, criminal justice, communication studies and philosophy and religion. Students should contact Emmanuel Harris II, Professor in the World Languages and Cultures Department, for additional information.
