UNCW delivers a consistent message to new students about involvement: GET INVOLVED. Fortunately, Seahawks take flight right away since involvement is something our students know all about. Despite their background, our students lead student organizations, played various sports, engaged in leadership and service learning projects, and participated in other activities that made them well-rounded at their high school, community college, or university before ever having stepped foot on our campus.

There are a lot of different ways in which a student can choose to continue that high level of involvement once they arrive, such as athletics, clubs and organizations, learning communities, mentored research projects, on-campus housing, study abroad opportunities, and much more!

Ultimately, when you make the choice to join our community, we expect you to make a difference. We expect you to leave UNCW a better place when you graduate.
