At UNCW, I knew I would receive the skills and professional development to make a difference in the world. I have already used these skills to develop a new curriculum using narratives and statistical data, engage with students to help them chart a course for a better future, and conduct effective speeches before community stakeholders to gain support for programs that benefit children and families in my community.
