Try Teal

Try Teal is a unique opportunity for Cape Fear Community College students in the Associate Degree Nursing program to take two courses in UNC Wilmington’s RN-BSN program at no cost — a savings of more than $1,200.

Upon the successful completion of the two courses, students can be conditionally admitted to UNCW’s RN-BSN program, an online accelerated program, specifically geared to working adults.

Try Teal Criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in Associate Degree in Nursing program at Cape Fear Community College
  • Completed at least 50 credit hours of ADN coursework
  • Completed ENG 111 with a C or higher
  • Cumulative 2.4 college GPA
  • Eligible to return to the last institution attended

Practice experiences in the RN-BSN program involve experiential learning in any setting where health care is delivered or health is influenced that allow for and require the student to integrate new practice related knowledge and skills. Practice experiences include both direct and indirect care activities that impact health outcomes.
