The combined Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Master of Science degree in Applied Gerontology program offers an accelerated path toward a Master of Science degree that prepares graduates to work in healthcare and community-based settings serving older adults. Graduates from this program are also trained to be leaders in the intersections of exercise science, gerontology, and wellness.

The EXS BS degree is designed for those students who are interested in pursuing graduate work in Exercise Science, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and other allied health areas. The Exercise Science curriculum focuses on applying theoretical and practical aspects of exercise, fitness and wellness within clinical, educational, private and community settings. Exercise Physiologist Certification Concentration: This concentration fits student looking to get involved with Physical Training and will prepare them for the ACSM exam.
