Most graduates work for biopharmaceutical companies; contract research organizations (e.g., PPD/Thermo Fisher, Syneos Health, IQVIA, LabCorp Drug Development, ICON, etc.); clinical research service providers or clinical sites enrolling clinical trial subjects; academic medical centers; government agencies; and other associated organizations.
Graduates are involved in:
- Clinical trials necessary to move new drugs, biologics and biomedical devices through the regulatory process to obtain regulatory approval;
- Post-marketing studies required for drug safety and used for label/market expansion.
