- National Board Certification Support Program
The Watson College of Education National Board Certification Support Program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington began in 2001 and continues to be a valuable resource for participants throughout each new certification cycle.
Activities and delivery sequence are structured to provide intensive support for all candidates and to address the changes implemented each year by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Currently, support sessions are offered for initial, advanced and maintenance of certification (renewal) candidates.
We are proud to now offer our support sessions in a hybrid format so candidates can join from on campus or anywhere! Please join our support network available to teachers across the state of North Carolina. For more information and registration options please click the appropriate tab to the left.
