We offer a 4+1 Computer Science, B.S./Computer & Information Systems, M.S. program that will earn you a master's degree in five years.

For students looking to combine computer science and engineering, check out our 3+2 Computer Science/Computer or Electrical Engineering program in collaboration with North Carolina State University.

Combination Programs

4+1 Computer Science, B.S. / Computer & Information Systems, M.S. A key feature of the program is that you can count up to 12 hours of graduate-level courses to fulfill requirements for the B.S. in Computer Science and use those same 12 credits toward the M.S. in Computer Science and Information Systems. 3+2 Computer Science / Computer or Electrical Engineering A 3+2 program offers the opportunity to double major – earn a degree in a science major from UNCW in approximately three years and an engineering degree at NC State in the final two years of study. UNCW students will complete the NC State engineering transfer admission requirements while completing their UNCW major and University Studies requirements. Discover
