If you love to sing, there is a place for you in one of UNCW’s choirs! There are two choirs at UNCW: the Chamber Singers and the University Chorale. Both choirs are under the direction of Dr. Aaron Peisner, Director of Choral Activities and Assistant Professor of Music.
The mission of the UNCW Choral Program is to cultivate choral artistry at the highest level, to deepen our love and understanding of music through singing, and to share our love of music with our campus, the wider Wilmington community, and beyond.
Recently highlights include performances of the Duruflé Requiem, Benjamin Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb, the Mozart “Credo” Mass, and the premiere of Hilary Purrington’s a cappella choral work, Look out for squalls.
