Cucalorus Film Festival includes an innovative line-up of films ranging from love-lost unicorns and teenage bank robbers to family flicks and social justice documentaries.
More that 240 independent and international films will be screened, including a hefty list of world premieres, U.S. and regional premieres, award-winning international films and original debuts from well-known and up-and-coming filmmakers.
Along with a deep schedule of multi-disciplinary performances ranging from dance to spoken word and beyond, the festival will include:
FST 210 Movie Makers and Scholars features lectures and presentations by filmmakers, film industry professionals, and film scholars. The course is offered as part of the UNCW University Studies curriculum.
The class is held in the King Hall Theater, room 101 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. each Friday. All Film Studies majors and pre-majors are welcome to attend guest lecture presentations. For more information, email Terry Linehan.
