Communication Studies Society (CSS) The Communication Studies Society provides networking opportunities. Meet peers and professionals in the communications field. Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society (LPH) Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) is the official communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association (NCA). NCA recognizes, fosters and rewards outstanding achievement and generates interest in the communication field. Eligible students must have: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and Communication Studies minimum GPA of 3.25. Students must have at least 12 hours in the major and be in good standing with the university.
