Honor Society
At UNCW, we offer an undergraduate degree in Anthropology, with three possible concentrations: cultural anthropology, physical/biological anthropology, and archaeology.
Our faculty is comprised of accomplished professionals in this field, from archaeologists to forensic anthropologists.
Lambda Alpha National Anthropology Honor Society
Requirements
- 3.3 UNCW GPA/3.5 Anthropology GPA
- Junior status (60 hrs or more)
- 12 hours in anthropology at UNCW at the 200 level or higher
- At least one UNCW Anthropology course at the 300 level or higher.
*Membership is open twice a year, Fall and Spring.

A letter of interest that includes your name, address, phone or e-mail address, and GPA in both Anthropology and overall.
Where to Submit?
Please submit all application materials to Dr. Alexander or the administrative assistant office in the Anthropology department.
