Women's Studies and Resource Center Advisory Board
The UNCW Women's Studies and Resource Center Advisory Board is a Provost's Committee with faculty, student, staff and community partner representation. The board currently comprises 18 voting members and designated non-voting, ex-officio members, all who provide perspectives from across disciplines, units, UNCW colleges and schools. The purpose of the WSRC Advisory Board is to act in an advisory capacity to the Director and staff of the WSRC and the Associate Provost for Institutional Diversity and Inclusion in matters regarding the management and operation of the WSRC. Past initiatives include the Lactation Services Policy and Campus Lactation Stations, the post-baccalaureate certificate in Women's and Gender Studies, the 2014 Southeastern Women's Studies Association Conference, and the ongoing, campus childcare facilities request.
Faculty interested in participating on the WSRC Advisory Board are encouraged to select the WSRC Advisory Board in their committee selection survey sent by faculty senate in late-spring. Contact the Director of the WSRC for more information.
