Project Management has become critical in the success and competitiveness of public and private sector companies. Enterprises achieve their goals through projects and effective project management. In addition, the increasing complexity of work and demands for "more with less" place special demands on the project manager and need for a project-based approach.

This Project Management Certificate Course will focus on project leadership, communication, team building, conflict resolution, negotiation, cost & budget, measuring performance, and change management. Completing this program will also provide continuing education credits for select organizations and counts towards the Project Management Professional® certification exam requirements by the Project Management Institute.

Why is Project Management important?
Currently having the PMP (Project Management Professional) is the fastest career accelerator in the market place! Google 'PMP' or look at most job listings and you will see ''PMP required or desired.' One of the requirements to sit for the PMP exam is to have a 35-hour course in project management. The certificate we offer covers that requirement and as a standalone shows any future employer that you have an in depth knowledge in the area. Over the last 9 years, only one person who took this course and then sat for the PMP failed the exam, so the success rate is at about 99%. This is not about business, but how to structure your work effort to more efficient in reaching your end goals.
