Honors Seminar Course
HON 120: Pre-Health Clinical Introduction
[Please note this course will not be offered for Spring 2013.]
Each spring, University College and the Honors College co-sponsor an experiential seminar focused on health professions. The course includes enrichment activities at local healthcare sites and interactive clinical demonstrations and discussion in the classroom. The course introduces pre-health students to realistic clinical settings for a variety of health professions in order to support their preparation for and decision-making around potential health careers.
Students must receive the instructor's permission to take this course. In order to qualify for admission to the course, students must hold at least a 3.0 GPA, must have earned a B or higher in BIO 201 or CHM 101, and must have earned an A- or higher in Freshman Seminar (if taken).
