Department of Public and International Affairs
Welcome to the Department of Public and International Affairs. We are a department that is dedicated to teaching, research, service, and public engagement in the areas of politics and public administration in the local, state, national, and international arenas. In addition to a BA degree in political science, we offer Masters Degrees in Public Administration, Coastal and Ocean Policy, and Conflict Management and Resolution. We also offer a graduate certificate in Conflict Management and Resolution. We have minors in political science, public administration, international affairs, and pre-law. Our department is actively engaged in innovative teaching modes such as our Great Decisions Lecture Series in the area of international politics and our Quality Enhancement for Non-profit Organizations (QENO) program which connects faculty, students, and area non-profits to provide opportunities for student learning, faculty research, and administrative support. Look over our website and see the variety of exciting and interesting programs we offer.
