Banner Upgrade and ITS Maintenance Scheduled for October 29-30: Plan Accordingly

ITS has been working with departments across campus to plan for a required Banner system upgrade, which will begin on Friday, October 28 at 5 p.m. and conclude by Monday, October 31 at 8 a.m. Please be aware that Banner/Hawkeye and SeaNet will be unavailable during this time.  (See list below for other unavailable applications.) Some features in mySeaport will be unavailable, but this downtime will not affect UNCW email services. Blackboard Learn should remain available.

Once the Banner Upgrade is complete, ITS will perform hardware maintenance on equipment that will require rebooting it. While we do not anticipate this affecting the campus, during the reboots there is the potential for a brief disruption to network connectivity.
