Megan Ennes, '06, Marine Biology and Education

After two degrees at UNCW I was forced out of the nest for my third. I am currently a doctoral student at North Carolina State University in the Department of STEM Education. I am working with Dr. Gail Jones and we are currently in the middle of a project examining student interest in STEM. We hope to identify family based pathways that can support underrepresented students' interest in
STEM. I am a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow thanks to my work with informal science educators.

milliken

Sarah Milliken-Glabe, '03, Marine Biology

I completed a Pediatric residency at Michigan State University/Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids in 2011. I returned to the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora to complete an Anesthesiology residency and graduated in 2014, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at the Children's Hospital Colorado. In looking for my first real job I decided on a private practice position as the Co-Director of Pediatric Anesthesia for Pikes Peaks Anesthesia Associates in my hometown of Colorado Springs, CO. And in between all the training and studying in 2012 I was married and in 2014 we welcomed our fabulous son Landon. Life is busy, but great.
