Congratulations to Dr. Laura Spivey on her selection as a 2011 recipient of the Discere Aude Award.
Recipients of this award have been nominated by their students who have themselves achieved academic distinction, a truly special tribute.
These students were asked to nominate faculty who have made a significant impact on their development at UNCW, and those nominated are clearly effective and respected mentors.
Dr. Spivey will be awarded at a ceremony hosted by the Center for Teaching Excellence and Faculty Leadership on December 8, 2011.
