As an ecotoxicologist, my research integrates the responses of aquatic organisms to endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) across biological scales with a focus on discerning mechanisms of toxicity and linking results of laboratory experiments to ecosystem responses.  My current work examines the impact of EDCs on gene and protein expression, reproductive behavior, sex ratio and population dynamics. Compounds of concern include pyrethroid pesticides and pharmaceuticals.
