UNCW to Celebrate Commencement with Class of 2014

Commencement ceremonies for the UNCW Class of 2014 will be held May 9-10 in Trask Coliseum. More than 1,900 undergraduates as well as 336 graduate students and five doctoral students are slated to participate in one of four ceremonies, which will be streamed for viewing remotely.
Friday, May 9 Ceremonies
2 p.m. – Cameron School of Business – Guest speaker: UNCW alumnus Malcomb Coley, a partner with Ernst & Young.
5:30 p.m. – Watson College of Education and the College of Health and Human Services – Guest speaker: Wilmington native Margaret Weller-Stargell, president and chief executive officer of Coastal Horizons Center Inc. She is also president of the Willie Stargell Foundation, named for her late husband, a National Baseball Hall of Fame member.
Saturday, May 10 Ceremonies
9:30 a.m. – Sciences, Humanities and Graduate Liberal Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences – Guest speaker: Curry Guinn, associate professor, Department of Computer Science
1 p.m. – Creative Arts and Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences – Guest speaker: Nicholas Hudson, assistant professor, Department of Art and Art History
