The UNCW Center for Teaching Excellence is partnering with Penn State University and the University of the Arts London in hosting the 8th annual Designs on e-Learning Conference. Taking place on the UNCW campus Sept. 11-13, the conference will focus on a current major challenge in higher education: determining optimal uses of emerging technologies for student engagement.
The Designs on e-Learning (DeL) conference fosters innovative practices in teaching and learning with the use of technology. In various sessions the impact of shifting and emerging technologies will be explored, and participants will learn how to maximize these technologies to improve student learning.
UNCW is pleased to welcome Dr. Roger McHaney of Kansas State University, and Dr. Carol Burch-Brown of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, as the keynote speakers for the conference. Along with many other higher education professionals from around the world, they will offer insight into the ever-growing realm of digital teaching for the future.
