Many skilled individuals who have lost their jobs or are negatively impacted by the recession have started new companies in Southeastern North Carolina which have helped stabilize the economy.
The UNCW Entrepreneurship Center, LLC serves as a catalyst for entrepreneurial growth in the region and at the university. The EC strives to create business growth, jobs and innovation by linking emerging and high-growth ventures, entrepreneurs and partner organizations.
