Campaign Focus:
Merit Scholarships

Of special note, during the campaign, we began a new UNCW Distinguished Merit Scholarship Program to compete with other leading universities for the highest performing students.

The goal is for a donor to 'adopt' a student or students from admission to commencement with a merit scholarship renewable for eight semesters.

These scholarships rank among the most prestigious the university offers and promise to make the UNCW experience affordable and accessible for superior students from an array of cultural and ethnic backgrounds or financial circumstances.
