The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers opportunities for recent graduates, postgraduate candidates, and developing professionals and artists to conduct career-launching study and research abroad. This program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Dr. Theodore Burgh is the UNCW advisor for the United States Fulbright Student Awards Application Process. Please note:
- There is a campus interview very soon after applications are submitted on campus. The applicant interviews with at least two to three faculty members. Questions will focus the application, and in cases where there is a language requirement, there may be a brief oral test for proficiency.
- Once the interviews are complete, applications are sent to NY. This is in addition to the electronic copy completed online
- Applicants should make arrangements with those writing letters of recommendation to submit them on time. Also, please make requests for transcripts early. Applications are incomplete without these materials.
