Events & Programs

UNCWeekends is a late-night program led by students to provide the UNCW community with safe and fun alternatives to alcohol and substance use. In-person and virtual events are available and typically occur between Thursday evening and Sunday afternoons. Below are just some of the amazing opportunities we provide. To learn more about upcoming events, please check us out on WaveLink or look us up on the Corq app!

UNCWeekends puts on a wide variety of activities on campus to ensure accessibility to students. These include visual arts opportunities such as Cheerwine & Design and Mingle & Jingle, athletic events like Bubble Soccer and Scavenger Hunts; as well as collaborative events with the Association for Campus Entertainment (ACE), Housing and Residence Life, Fraternity & Sorority Life, and many other organizations across campus. One of our most popular traditions is BINGO NIGHT

UNCWeekends works with local establishments to give students safe and affordable ways to have fun off-campus every weekend. A few of our frequent partnerships with off-campus locations include paintball at Crossfire, Skate With Your Date at the Wilmington Ice House, and Midnight Bowling at Cardinal Lanes.

As we adapt to ever-changing circumstances, UNCWeekends is excited to add interactive and accessible virtual programming to our event roster. Some of these include adaptations of our already popular opportunities such as Bingo and Catching Up With The Crafts - but new opportunities such as Netflix/Disney+ streaming parties and BYO Sunday Brunch conversations, WeekendWindDown.
