Christina has worked in the field of orientation, transition and retention for twelve years and has been at UNCW for eleven years. She holds a master’s in Higher Education Administration from the University of Arkansas and recently completed her Doctor of Education degree at UNCW. Christina specializes in programs for first-year students, family programming, event planning and leadership development. She oversees new student orientation, the orientation leaders, and technology in the office.

Natalie started her role as the assistant director in the Office of Transition Programs in June 2019. She has her master’s degree in Higher Education from Syracuse University. Natalie oversees convocation, commencement ceremonies, and the senior Taking Flight workshop series for the University.
Carrie West

Carrie started at UNCW in May 2018 after completing her master’s in Higher Education Administration at The University of Alabama. She oversees the Teal Bridge transfer student program and Family Programs. Carrie is passionate about working with transfer students, low-SES students, and first-generation college students to help them transition into college and finish their baccalaureate degree.

Kenyetta Corley

Kenyetta recently joined the office as the coordinator of first-year student programs after obtaining her master's degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She advises the Seahawk Links peer mentor program and oversees programming focused on engaging first-year students throughout the academic year.

The Office Manager performs all business and finance functions in the Office of Transition Programs. This position also oversees all inventory, travel, HR, payroll, budgetary and purchasing functions for the department.
Caroline Davis

Caroline is excited to start her higher education career as the Graduate Assistant in Transition Programs. She is currently working towards her master’s in Higher Education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Caroline oversees the Family Newsletter and Family Chats for parents and family members of UNCW students.
