More Streamlined and User-Friendly Process for Requesting Campus Space Announced

Message from the Office of Institutional Planning, Analytics, and Effectiveness

As our institution has continued to grow, so has the need for a more streamlined and user-friendly process for requesting campus space. Beginning Oct. 18, Space Planning and Management, in the Office of Institutional Planning, Analytics, and Effectiveness, will begin accepting requests via this electronic form: Space Request Form. This new and improved workflow is to ensure the best use of existing facilities and will better serve the campus in achieving its strategic plan.

Upon receiving a space request via the new portal, the Space Planning and Management team will review the request, reach out to ask clarifying questions as needed, and then complete an initial assessment. All requests will be forwarded to the Space Planning and Allocation Committee for review. The committee may ask clarifying questions and invite the requestor to present/discuss the request. The request will be forwarded to the Executive Cabinet for review and will make a recommendation to the Chancellor. 

The Office of Institutional Planning, Analytics, and Effectiveness is eager to engage in this new process and welcomes feedback.
