RN-BSN and Clinical Research Achieve #7 National Ranking

UNCW has been recognized for two of its qualifying online programs, the RN-BSN and Clinical Research undergraduate programs, as #7 in the nation for Best Online Bachelor’s Programs.

U.S. News & World Report determined the college rankings based on student engagement, faculty credentials and training and peer reputation.   Collegiate programs in which all required coursework is completed online are evaluated for this distinction.  UNCW was ranked behind Ohio State University – Columbus, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Temple University, Arizona State University, Utah State University, Oregon State University, and is tied with Pennsylvania State University – World Campus.

UNCW was also ranked 62nd among the top 100 public universities nationwide for college value, according to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine.  Rankings are based on the top 100 public, private and liberal arts institutions based on admission rates, academic quality, retention, student-faculty ratio, graduation rates and cost.  Further, of the 6 NC universities in the top 100, UNCW ranked second in 4-year graduation rates and third in average salary earned after graduating.
